This is the ironic part.

Not sure why it's ironic since many of us have issues with the current line and current recruits on the line

It's been stated many times we really need some tackles.

NO... He is stuck on Players that played for Miles....

Because thats the parameters earl set.

Clapp and Pocic both count as nfl dradt picks under O. They played and played well under O too.

Whose fault is that?

The entire point is the talent is there. The pieces are in place. Coaches need to make it work.

It's ironic coming from those posters that say things like "Orgeron is trying to clean up Miles' mess" when, in fact, Orgeron doesn't seem to be making any progress in bringing in true tackle prospects.

I believe that 5* is a tackle. If so, that’s a massive difference then what we have had to do lately

So a 5 Star tackle instead of a 4 Star tackle is worth 44 points? Come on, I know you aren’t this naive

He did that when he took over.

Right now is the building phase, it's his team

Hey rodge. Why dont you tell us more about scheme being important when you have less polished talent. Then tell us how lsu needs more talent. Then tell us lsu doesnt have a scheme issue.

So, you're happy with the OL prospects in this class? He's been here 2 full years.

LSU had a patched OL with no depth most of the season.

Blah blah blah.... bullshite. All that doesn’t explain not being able to put a single point on the board versus a 44 point dismantling in the national championship. Try again

Pocic was a OL under Miles in his last year. Was not an OL under O in 17’.

Clapp was a program player. Nothing more.

Even if you want to act like he was all world, what the frick else did Miles leave along the OL? You gonna act like KJ Malone was Jonathan Ogden too?

He took over a team full of future nfl players. 2 nfl draft picks on the oline, the 2nd most nfl draft picks last year, 3 nfl rbs, 3 all future all americans at each level of the defense.

Which of our several OT prospects in this class do you expect to lock down LT for us in the future?

Do you people even read on this board or just default to an attack position?

I clearly answered this, to you, a few posts earlier.

Rosenthal & Wire are two guys that are tackles. Both redshirted & both have big upside

The proof is in the results. Bamas defensive line pushed LSU'S lineman off the ball into the backfield.

That’s because our offense is unimaginative and isn’t a serious threat to score. Saban has been knowing this for years so they tee off on us. It’s been said in multiple anonymous coaches quotes every year in the offseason

Great play calling helps offset a weak OL. Lawrence zipped those balls within 3 seconds because of the play calling and ability to read coverages.

The battle is in the trenches but excellent play calling and no pussy shite playing for a field goal offsets a weak OL.

Orgeron also got rid of a few un NFL players.

Yea, so were Weathersby, Okeke, Magee, and Brown in our 2015 class. And Savage and Willie Allen in 2016.

So, again, what is Orgeron doing differently than Miles to build our tackles?
