You really believe that the Dems won’t give them citizenship as soon as they have the power?
Ask Reagan about making compromises with Democrats over immigration.

I think that is fair. Still needs to be done by statute as opposed to EO.
I am also not completely opposed to residency for working illegal ailiens. Our demographics will cause some legit issues if millions of working bodies are removed from the economy.
