Anyone else think that Convoy is one of the most underrated movies of the 70s?

The Rubber Duck, Pigpen, Spider Mike, etc.
Almost a darker version of Smokey and the Bandit with an awesome theme song.
Hardly ever replayed on the movie channels.

Great movie. This is the type of film I wish Netflix would also carry. Not trendy same ole movies that always seem like you're watching the same thing.

CBs were cool when I was young. Talked while driving to school. I know it’s a shock to you youngsters but everyone having a cell phone has not been around that long.

Come on and join our convoy
Ain't nothin' gonna get in our way.
We gonna roll this truckin' convoy
'Cross the U-S-A.

I don’t go for that country rap.

Convoy is hands-down the worst Peckinpah film.
That being said, it’s still a Peckinpah film and it’s definitely worth watching.
Fortunately he lived long enough to make one more film, The Osterman Weekend, which is significantly better.

That song is horrible.
Was that the one about ridin' Teddy Bear all night long?

Yes. Yes it is. Almost hard to believe that the guy is behind that that is behind all the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas music.
