Nothing, and I do honestly mean nothing, takes that long to investigate, unless its being done by a public body with public money.
I want the Mueller investigation to be thorough and complete, but to assert that it is perfectly acceptable for it to drag on for years is silly.

1. That's not what his investigation began on.
2. Clinton, as a sitting President, lied under oath.

This is relevant how? Its either proper or it isnt, and what random partisans say about it doesn't change that outcome.
The fact that stupid, biased conservatives cheered the Starr investigation and Clinton impeachment bullshite doesn't make them right then, or wrong now, and it doesnt mean that Mueller gets carte blanche to drag this out for four years.
Its objectively ridiculous.

It was proper for Starr. Rush limbaugh was all over Starr's cock in the 90s, as was Lindsey and a bunch of other Rs. the crimes that Clinton were accused of were much less of a deal than Trump.

If it comes down to Mueller trying to nab Trump in perjury over a blowjob, I will be the first to say its absolutely bullshite.
Not to mention Meuller has far more indictments and convictions in 18 months than starr got in 4 years.

Trump won’t even sit for an interview yet people keep bitching about why the investigation won’t end sooner.
New Rule: No more bitching about the length of the Mueller investigation until after Trump sits for his interview.

Wrong

Literally could not be less relevant. What people who are paid to entertain say about something is completely irrelevant. I dont care what Rush Limbaugh says about ANYTHING, and neither should you. What partisans say about purely partisan issues also should not garner one bit of your attention. On top of that, even if those people's reactions 20 years ago were somehow important, it is STILL not indicative of the merits of either investigation, either Starr or Mueller.

The "seriousness" of an alleged defense does not dictate how long it takes to investigate something.

So that is the measuring stick? How many indictments they can find and charge?
The Starr investigation was a travesty. It took longer than the 9/11 Commission Report. That is completely ridiculous, a waste of taxpayer money, and totally unacceptable.
Outside of Mueller uncovering a massive, inter-governmental conspiracy to hand the presidency to Trump, it needs to be wrapped up soon. It just simply does not take endless amounts of time to investigate something, not with the resources Mueller and team have available. Unless of course you allow the scope to expand endlessly, like these special counsels always do. And Im not saying things uncovered during the investigation but outside the SC's scope should be ignored. They shouldn't. But allowing them to drag on, while leaking constantly, does nothing but lead large segments of people to believe it is nefarious.
They need to investigate under the very narrow parameters of their enabling legislation and report back to Congress asap. Ancillary matters that they find should be referred to DOJ for complete investigation.

Well I am not sure it should be wrapped up soon, but I do think they need to shite or get off the pot on this one. There have been chatter that Don jr, stone, corsi, and others will be indicted. Get the frick to it. get that report out, even if its not complete.

Like Cohen? Or Butina?

If those jackasses can't find anything in 2 freakin years then they need to be fired!

Unfamiliar with the second name, I have tuned out somewhat since the midterms, I got tired of the circus.
I know that he has referred several things to the Southern District, but I was more specifically referring to his charging of Manafort, etc. on things completely unrelated to the trump campaign. That whole class of things should have been sent elsewhere.

I can agree with this. Don't mistake my frustration with the length of the investigation with partisanship. If the facts warrant indictments all around, then so be it. But lets get it done. The entire country is held hostage politically while this is going on. The quicker it gets resolved, no matter the outcome, the faster we can move on and try to start governing again.

We get a new AG sworn in, set a timeline and call that George. It should not be more than six months.
Then Trump can release everything and see how foolish mule looked the whole time, and go after he and rosenstein for the U1 coverup.

Shocked, shocked, I say. Got to keep this thing going so Mueller can drop his report 6 months out from the election.

Starr merely reported evidence of crimes he found to the Atty Gen. Reno kept adding to him assignment.
Everyone knew what he was investigating. Nobody knows what Mueller is investigating.
The Clinton's were excessively criminal people -
The impeachment was all about things Clinton did while in office.
Clinton was not impeached because of a blowjob he got in the Oval Office. He was impeached because of obstruction of justice, perjury = while in office.
But you have to know all that - lazy lazy lazy attempt

I can only imagine what the left would say if trump vaginally probed a young female subordinate intern with a cigar in the Oval Office

It’s on Trump at this point. He should have already given Mueller a deadline to finish his bs.
