Fulmer hasn't won a SEC in 10 years...Tubby has 1 and hasn't sniffed the top 10 but one time. And, I don't think Paterno is coaching in the SEC, but i could be wrong.

You realize the players who left were the ones Saban was weeding out right?

Take off your Miles glasses. If we had kept Saban LSU would have at least 3 titles in this decade instead of 2.

Just a minute, you dork. It was Saban who decided to leave and caused the turmoil that could have otherwise been more NCs. How is that a reflexion on Miles, you moron? If anything, it shows that Saban is a worse coach by being a flighty jack-arse.

You might want to take a chill pill and clam down, you have been typing entirely too angry and too fast.

The reflection on Miles is Saban > Miles.

from their current team?

of course Miles would be better in winning percentages. He took over a great team.

He took over the poorly coached 2004 team. A team that lacked Linebackers, Offensive Lineman & Tight Ends.

Is Miles a Top 10 head coach?
So let's fire Miles immediately for his failure to go undefeated every season and win every game by 35 points. After all, "the LSU fans knew what these teams were capable of". You're a joke.

Please astonish us all with your football expertise & tell us which coach LSU needs to hire to ensure we avoid any close calls, a bounce of the ball, winning every game "that should not be close", and above all accomplishing what "LSU fans KNEW his teams were capable of". Please give us a list of coaches to replace Miles, since he is a utter failure.

Cool off there Kate. Where did I say he was a failure or needed to be fired? I'm delighted with the success of the program this decade.
He walked into a loaded program and everyone knew it.
What you're failing to see is that aside from probably UF & UGA what teams have been more talented than LSU?
Yet, we needed overtimes to beat Ole Miss, & Auburn at home, blew a 21-point lead to UT, blew another double digit lead at UK,.......
To me, it's very understandable why folks other than LSU fans don't rank Miles among the Top 10.

No,he's not. Not as a coach or as a person.

You promised to leave the board last December. You lied and have continued your nonsense. Do us all a favor and find a 'Bama board so you can profess your love for Saban.

There is no such thing as "Saban's players." Talent that was here was used very well. . .talent that has been recruited shows no signs of dropping off

one other point. ..the HC does very little coaching . . .a better question is: Does LSU have a top 10 coaching staff?

Judging from recruiting and record over Mile's tenure the answer is a resounding yes.

Go back and watch the games man. The only reason we beat some of those inferior teams over the past three years was because we were simply better.
UT in '06, Ole Miss '06, Bama '07. Those 3 right there shouldn't have been close.
Saban had to rebuild a program that had lost the know how to win.
Miles came into to a set tabel & stocked cupboard.
Do you think Miles could have rebuilt this program if he'd gotten the job in 2000?
