I do not know anything more about this story than what is posted here, and not insinuating anything, but the discussion of drinking and hunting comes up here occasionally and I seem to be in the minority around here with my strong stance of guns and alcohol do not mix... at all, , just a beer or two can make you lack the full attention to detail that is necessary when handling firearms , rule at my place is hunt all you want and drink all you want, but once you start drinking, hunting is over and guns put away

Enforcing that rule at a commercial operation made me very unpopular.... but I had high ranking support on that

We had the same rule in our diving group, you can have a beer after your last dive, but if you drink a beer that was your last dive.
