In addition to our bug out bags, we also carry a full first aid kit. I also carry a case of bottled water as well. The winter car is a subaru and they don't always play well with chains.
Looking at this, I should also add a 6'x8'tarp and a few packs of Cool aid to my BOB. You can spread Koolaid on snow and it
provides contrast to aid rescuers searching from above.

Hey Lonnie What kind of subaru and how do you like it? Im interested in an outback just for road trips and such. Decent fuel mileage?
