Gonna be in the mountains next month for a few weeks.
Everywhere we are going is currently blizzard conditions.
Already have 4x4, severe snow rated tires, and winch.

There was a fair bit of snow

not a yankee but lived in CO for a little bit. Definitely get some brushes and ice scrapers to unbury your car. should go unsaid but make sure you have good gloves or gloves attached to said accessories. also consider a shovel for worst case scenarios. would also advice a change or warm clothes and blankets to be kept in car at all times.

Bring a pocket juice to recharge your phone a couple times just in case

Chains, shovel, and good warm working gloves.

Bring a couple of candles--when you’re buried in an avalanche or stalled out in a blizzard - you can keep the entire car quite warm with a one lit candle.

Here's what's in mine.
Wool Blanket
Space blankets
Hand warmers.
Matches/Lighter
Candles
1 can of sterno
Fleece Jacket
Wool Hat
Balaclava
Fleece pants
Winter parka
Heavy Winter Gloves
Lightweight work gloves
Small Snow Shovel
Waterproof pants.
2 large garbage bags
Flash light
Headlamp.
This is in addition to a fully stocked "bug out bag" or 72 hour kit.
The contents of that kit contains
First Aid
3 Alcohol pads
3 Antiseptic hand wipes
2 Antacids
4 Aspirin
12 Assorted bandages
3 Butterfly bandages (5)
8 Cotton gauze
6 Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)
4 Ibuprofen
1 Iodine tincture 1 Fl oz (also purifies water)
6 Loperamide tablets (imodium)
1 Neosporin tube
6 Pepto tablets
1 Tissue
6 Wound seal (Quikclot)
6 Tampons
Food & Water
1 1/2 cup sugar (300 Calories)
2 16 oz bottled water
14 4 oz emergency water rations
1 lifestraw
3 Cliff Bars (240 Calories)
4 Emergen-C Packages
2 Extended shelf life emergency rations (2400 calories)
2 foil sealed tuna package (70 calories)
1 Freeze dried beef stroganoff (1000 calories)
6 Green tea bags
6 Instant oatmeal
1 Medium cooking pot
2 Pasta and sauce meals
5 Pedialyte powder (singles)
3 Single serving trail mix (450 calories)
1 Small tin can (empty)
2 Squeezable fruit/vegetables
Hard Candy
Roughly 10,000 Calories
Fire
3 Fire Extender block
1 Mag-Steel bar
2 Small lighter
1 Sterno Can
2 Votive candles
1 Waterproof matches
Misc
3 1 qt zip lock freezer bags
1 12x12" aluminum foil
4 18" Heavy duty Zip ties
1 2400 maH backup battery
2 4 pack glow sticks
1 50' paracord
1 Collapsible Plastic water bladder (1L)
1 Cotton Bandana
1 Emergency whistle/compass
1 Fishing kit
1 Flushable baby wipes
10' Gorilla Tape (wrapped around flashlight)
2 Hand warmers
2 Large Garbage bags
1 LED flashlight and light bar

1 Millar space blanket
1 NOAA weather radio
1 Rain Poncho
1 Small Lockblade knife
1 small sunscreen
6 Small Zip ties

In addition to our bug out bags, we also carry a full first aid kit. I also carry a case of bottled water as well. The winter car is a subaru and they don't always play well with chains.
Looking at this, I should also add a 6'x8'tarp and a few packs of Cool aid to my BOB. You can spread Koolaid on snow and it
provides contrast to aid rescuers searching from above.

plastic sheet/tarp/trash bag or something to put down incase you need to get on the ground or put a knee in the snow.
Deicer in the reservoir and a gallon to spare. Chains if the area allows them. Food and drinks in case you get stuck on the highway for a while

You don't have to lay everything out....but you should easily be able to take a pic or 2 that give us the idea.

good boots, hat, gloves are a must. I live in a very rural, very cold place so I keep what i call my "winter survival bag" in my vehicle for about 6 months out of the year. I keep in it, a -20 degree sleeping bag, candles, waterproof matches, leatherman, shovel, sternos, first aid kit, little folding sterno stove thing (so i can melt snow), pot, canned soups, granola bars, emergency blankets, rope and a few things im forgetting at the moment.
This might be overkill as I dont know how rural you will be. ANother good idea is kitty litter. you can sometimes pour it under a spinning tire and it will give you enough traction to get unstuck.

Nope. The BOB is a 2500 CC bag from walmart. As I stated above, the Winter kit is in a 3 gallon (I think) rubbermaid tote.

You don't need to post a pic. This is the OB. A man's word is still good here.

Too late.
And going outside today with snow cover and low sun angle, I can't stress enough how important eye protection is. Snow blindness is the real deal. FWIW, you can improvise sunglasses from a variety of materials.
