...came to LSU?
Assuming we wouldn't have lost the other QB's who would have started? Would we be in a NY6 Bowl?
What attracted Joe?

Orgeron and Ensminger are incredibly good recruiters. Orgeron is a used car salesman and I mean that as a compliment. He can sell anyone on anything. IMO, playing against the best competition probably had something to do with it as well. The son of a coach is usually a competitor and I think we saw that out of him this season.

Eta: terribly misspelled word

Joe didn't make a lot of mistakes, but he didn't win any games either. Not much of an improvement from last year, especially statistically but I have a felling he will do good things next year.

McMillan would’ve started and the offense would be even worse.

The University of Louisiana wouldn't have gotten McMillan.

Auburn and UGA would've been losses. Maybe Arkansas too.

You mean like in it's a Wonderful Life?

Well, although Burrow attempted more passes/game than any QB in 10+ yrs at LSU, his passing TDs were also less than any in 10 yrs. So if he is indeed better than the G.O.A.T. Dwayne Haskins just think how bad our QB/WR development, OC, and Offense has to be to totally conceal that immense talent. Our AD & Chancellor Potter needs to think outside the binder:

First and utmost, we would have never been plagued by the endless whining of Alter-boy Buckeye Joe from the Props for Oganda Cartel headed by Dereck E. Ponamsky & Assoc.

We would not have had the worst Passing Offense in the last 4 years.

We would not have had to listen to how being last in the SEC was because we did not have enough Jugs machines and that Burrow has a better arm than Dwayne Haskins who is now the all time OSU and Big 10 QB with 27 records, #1 QB in Draft after only 1 Year, and now holds 27 records.

Wow! Look at the rankings. ALA attempted fewer passes/game than LSU. They are ranked #2 and LSU is #110, tied with Rice with 13 passes. Burrow only had 12 because CEH threw one in OT vs TAMU. So we actually finished below Rice.

If Burrow never came out of desperation seeking PT, maybe we would have been able to force a change back to "Competing for Championships" rather than "In the Hunt, Exceeding Low Media Expectations." McMillan won 2 Texas State 6-AAA Championships.

O & E have walled themselves off from new ideas. Saban on the other hand rotates OCs & DCs just so he can keep getting new ideas and picking peoples brains. He holds Coaching Seminars for open exchange of ideas. He has a Process that emphasizes Development.

LSU is terrible at Offensive development especially at QB. We took the #1-#2 DTQB in 2014 and stuck him under center in the I formation with 2 TEs & a FB and tried to run through the middle of the line. That was after that same QB came into the MSU game with 3 min to play trailing by 3 TDs and proceeded to toss two in 28 secs and throw a Hail Mary as time expired which would have won the game. He followed that up with 7 for 7 TDs in 2 qtrs using 3 WRs and running the option. After all of that Miles & Achilles Cameron let Hilliard, Magee, La'El revert to 3 and out, trying to boost their Draft stock.

Odds are none of us would have ever heard of Buckeye Jeaux.

We would have all been winners in that deal.
