Thats nice. I wonder how many of those people weren't comfortable getting the hug?
This is simply the SJW bullcrap of "Ask permission of your girlfriend before you hold her hand. Ask her if she's "comfortable" with it.
It's just starting that brainwashing crap with small children.
"Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted"
Vladimir Lenin.

Thank god we’re finally addressing the real problems in America and not silly things like trade and military adventurism.
Makes a certain amount of sense to me.

Uh Huh... You supported it before you "explained" it. That being said, why should people have to put up with such crap just because you and other SJWs think it's the right thing to do.
Once again, the alt-left fundamentalist hive, evangelizing to everyone else because they think they know better than anyone else.

Do you have kids hank? A boy or girl?
I have both. 4 and 1.
Kids are rude and self centered. If I didn’t harp on the 4 year old (boy) to say thank you when he gets a gift, or hug his Grammie when she does something nice, or display gratitude in some other way, he wouldn’t do it, and wouldn’t learn that it was important at all.
Edit: Does this teach him he needs to give a hand job to his buddy when he lends him his truck?
We don’t order him to hug anyone on the street, we tell him to hug family that we know it is appropriate to do so. We will do the same to our girl when she is old enough. He is 4, he doesn’t know when it is appropriate. We as his parents, do.

I'm as conservative as anybody here, but I agree with and put in practice the idea that my son (once he became cognizant enough to have an opinion on the matter) is not required to give physical affection to anyone if he doesn't want to. He's not allowed to be rude to people about it, and we do talk to him afterwards about how what he does effects other people's feelings unintentionally, but he's not required to even with me and my wife. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with a kid growing up knowing to respect the rights of the individual starting with their bodies. I mean, I could see how a child molester might not like that, but not anyone with a normal psycho-sexual makeup. This is not a new idea either. I never was forced to hug people as a kid. Any adult that takes real offense when a child doesn't want to give them a hug needs to grow up. Besides, if you just let a kid warm up to a person for like 3 friggin minutes it's 99% likely that person will get a voluntary hug

We never made them hug people, but do require them to extend their handshake to anyone they do not want to hug.
We have admittedly been very fortunate about them embracing good manners. People gush about our girls’ manners. Parents of other kids at school tell us how impressed they are and that they want their kids to hang with our girls.
STD will appear in a moment to call me a liar.

No one should ever force a child to do something they're uncomfortable doing.
This includes eating foods they don't like the taste of, getting haircuts, wearing clothes they don't like, and especially giving a hug to every weirdo who wants one, like their grandparents for instance.
2 year olds are just immature adults. That's like literally it. Like literally.

Why do these parents force their kids to eat? Or sleep? Or bathe? Or learn to read?
Since they're all for letting the children decide...
It's called manners...get some leftist fascists.
And stop forcing your narrow -minded, radical, antisocial emotional disorders on the rest of us.

We need to ID who it is coming up with all this stuff and out them. I'd be willing to bet it's either some hardcore lesbo or some Michael Moore lookalike LOL

When will these fricknuts realize that God gave kids parents to train them up and guide them into wise choices and behaviors and we aren't meant to simply let them make all their life choices on their own?
When they finally realize there IS a God to whom they are accountable. That might be a while, if ever.

You never told your girls “give your grandpa a hug”?
Never once?
Never once?

When she orders the most expensive item on the menu, I expect her to put out, whether she was a Girl Scout or not.

I find this acceptable. Little kids can be moody. Why force them to hug somebody? They can extend a hand for a handshake as a gesture of politesse, instead of a hug.

I'm sure there was a study done on "Chores and Allowance, the inequity and wage gap of little girls."

These people sit around looking for things to get outraged about.
I suspet there will come a point when it gets out of hand and mainstream will reject these efforts.

Yeah...no. It's not the girls in the scouts that are pushing this crap, it's the adult SJWs that are brainwashing them into thinking it's an important "adult" way to view things. You know what kids like?..when they think they are acting like adults.
