Like ove said before, it's amazing how all of a sudden, EVERYONE is for gun rights and self defense with a gun now given the situation.

Do what?? Aside from a few leftwing dickholes that haunt the poliboard I'm fairly certain here are good with self-defense and guns..

Likewise, I've seen louisiana law enforcement over seas trying to train other police forces and they couldn't hit a 2 liter bottle from 100m out with a 4x on an m4.

Could they hit someone sitting in the back seat?

As I said before, I'm not a gun guy but I do agree with people having the right to defend themselves. I think you have the few that make it a touchy subject on just how many and how much firepower civilians should have/need for protection.

If you feel you need protection in order to attend a sale of your property, then you shouldn't go.

This isn't the picture we want broadcasted of LSU football no matter the details.

This is such an idiotic thought process. What makes you think he carried just for this transaction opposed to carrying all the time which I’m sure he did

I agree but this will be mostly forgotten outside of BR by kickoff next season.

I carry in my vehicle at all times. You act as if he was bringing a gun to a drug deal in anticipation that something was going to go south.

I guess my point is, does Billy in the back of the neighborhood need 4 assault rifles, 8 handguns and 6 shotguns for protection?

I guess that would be my question. Why would someone need all of that? There may even be a good reason.

Sounds to me like this whole thing is over now. Hopefully they dont end up with a chronic case of PTSD from this, given their age and lack of preparation for this situation probably.

I'd still think LSU needs to look within and figure out how to prevent athletes from even being in this situation in the future.

Well, the purpose of the Second is to protect the citizenry from hostilities both foreign and domestic (i.e. government) so the limitation of arms by citizen would fall completely out of that line of thought.
