And it’s not even close. That is all.

Well, you say that, but then there's the whole Memento thing.

It actually took me a while to get to The Prestige, but it is a great film, no question.

I'm partial to Inception, but The Prestige is probably my 2nd favorite Nolan film.

The Prestige is a Top 5 film of 2000's.

It's immensely rewatchable despite you knowing the reveal.

And it's just more fun and cinematic to watch again than Memento.

It has a Shawshank quality to it.

Hot Carl is right. Stated an obvious fact. Not only is The Prestige Nolan's best film, it's his best by a fricking lot. Not even a debate here.

I don't think The Prestige is a terribly fun film, though. It's a great film, but not any more rewatchable than Memento.

For rewatchability, obviously his best films are Inception, Interstellar and The Dark Knight, more or less in that order for me.

I quite like the movie but the sound bugs the hell out of me. Maybe this is some get off my lawn nitpicky shite, but I don't like when a movie's sound effects are alot louder than the dialogue and The Prestige seems like the worst offender of any movie I've ever watched.

It may be a side effect of the way Nolan does certain things because that is my nitpick for Interstellar, too. I think the soundtrack was mixed way too loud compared to the dialogue. I went out of my way to watch the film on a large format screen (which I don't normally do) and the sound was the only reason I couldn't give the experience an A+.

Memento and, to a lesser degree, Inception had more subdued background sounds, at least during the dialogue. Of course, Memento was almost all dialogue, relative to the other films with explosions, action, and such.

Everyone will have their own opinion but if it’s not their first choice it’s usually their second. It is my favorite with memento being a close 2nd.

The Prestige is one of my favorite films ever, but the direction of Memento is more impressive IMO

I've always liked Insommnia. Crazy Robin Williams and So Pachino. Definitely had flaws but the Alaska setting with constant daylight brought a great atmosphere to the film. Actually felt a little of the insomnia Pachino went through. I've always felt it was way underrated as a Nolan film.

The Prestige is a great film. The story is engaging and both Jackman and Bale are superb in it. As is usually the case with Nolan, the supporting cast is strong too. It’s definitely one of his best.

Personal top 3:
Inception
Dark Knight
Prestige
