Yea I know what he has done and know both QBs. If he was elite, he would not be playing JV and would of took over. He will not be the starter at STM next year as well. Elite QBs don't wait until their Jr to start on their HS team. Holstein is solid but not elite as well.

Not currently a LA QB, but has Louisiana and LSU ties. Abram Booty coaches his son, General Booty. He was a sophomore QB this past season at Cornerstone in San Antonio. Would be worth hearing his name yelled over the PA system throughout games.

He was a true freshman this year, going against a junior returning starter. True freshman rarely dress out for varsity games, much less see the field at all for STM. He will be a 4-star QB recruit when he is a senior, IMO. Maybe a 5-star.

I heard South Cameron has a stud QB. 6-5, 225. Runs 4.3 40. Has an arm like a cannon.

Plus STM plays against one good team before the playoffs. Hard to judge talent when playing against inferior teams

You are missing the point. He is not elite. If he was, he would be out the starter.

Better than his dad at this stage? What does that mean? His dad wasn't even the best QB in the Acadiana area during his time.

I don’t think Abram left LSU with much love.

At the end of the SEC Storied "Book of Manning" Archie was asking all the grandkids what school they cheer for. One of the kids said LSU. Maybe it was the young QB and we have a shot.

Archie had the wherewithal to wait until the cameras stopped rolling to backslap the kid.

LSU 61-17, in his SR year will never sit well, even after ~50 years.

Well I know I'm right. The best QB in Acadiana during his time actually played in the NFL. Howard never played in the NFL. That's not even debatable. Since you brought up baseball, Howard was not even the best baseball player in the area during his time as well.
