Yeah... I’m sure that’s exactly what saban thought about when he saw “Louisiana Ragin Cajuns” on the schedule and media guides. He sure thought that... no, it’s just common sense to him like it is the rest of the country. They go by Louisiana and that is that. Cry about it.

They just got slammed by the 3rd rate Louisiana Tulane and have an all time loosing record to Louisiana McNeese and Louisiana Tech. They barely have a winning records with Louisiana Monroe and non fbs Louisiana Southeastern.
The number 6 team in Louisiana wants to be THE Louisiana! With an all time winning percentage of 48.2! Oh yeah, so they declare, so let it be written!

But they are also 4-0-1 lifetime against Tulane JV! No joke! Actual factual, honest Cajun!
They were almost 50 down by half time. The gumps were putting tuba players and male cheerleaders on the field in the 4th quarter on defense. They might have sent in the towel girl on the last play. Ok, not actual factual, but it was funny!

In Florida, where I live, the 3 biggies are in no hurry to schedule these UCF upstarts. Would be embarrassing (and very possible) to lose to them, and mess up recruiting.

USF will be there with UCF too. It wasn’t too long ago when they were feared.
I went to east Carolina and used to think we should win our conference once out of every 4 years.
But with UCF, USF and Houston in the American, kiss that goodbye. For only one reason.......recruiting talent within 1 hour of their school could suffice for a whole team.
They will all have trouble keeping their coaches, though.

Once again, you’re showing that it bothers you THAT much. Why do you care so much? Did you have a bad experience in Lafayette one time? Did you flunk out of ULL? Did some ULL dude steal your girl? Who gives a shite what they want to go by? It eats you people up, they continue to do it and it burns y’all up. It’s hilarious. It shouldn’t bother LSU fans and alumni. It should bother fans and alumni of other La schools. Not even ULM because they chose to brand themselves as ULM and seemingly do not care about the whole name game. I swear 99% of the people bitching are LSU people. I never hear fans of other La schools crying.

they both are glorified community colleges that accepts 100% of applicants pretty much.
I have family in Orlando and everyone around there says UCF is your last resort if you dont get into UF or FSU

Florida has a ton of people and their junior colleges arent as big there so they just lower the requirement for schools like those and FIU, FAU, etc.

I’m pretty sure a lot of Florida kids that don’t get into UF or FSU also head to border states for college such as UA, Auburn, Georgia etc.

Yep and many offer in state tuition.
Its like that in TX with OU and Oklahoma St. Half their kids are from TX because they offer in state
