It is a violation of FBI policy to have a contemporaneous record when interviewing a subject.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, bot

"having a contemporaneous record" doesn't even make sense

You're just talking gibberish, and you're probably confused as to the difference between "having" and "taking" because you aren't a native English speaker

You’re right. Proper detective training implores the agents to say, “Stop right there. We have evidence that what you are saying is false. Change your story now so you don’t lie to us.”

No wait.... Anyone who has ever watched a single episode of “Law and Order” knows that they will try to use leverage against those who are caught in their own lie.

You obviously need more time to think about this. Come back after nap time.

FLYNN also falsely stated that he did not remember a follow-up conversation in which the Russian Ambassador stated that Russia had chosen to moderate its response to those sanctions as a result of FLYNN's request

stated that he did not remember a follow-up conversation

truth and in fact, however, FLYNN then and there knew that the following had occurred

So, He was asked about a certain event/conversation and was very truthful, that's why the FBI agents felt he wasn't lying or trying to lie.

Have you ever been asked about an event/conversation from months or year back, remember and discuss it but don't remember every freaking detail? Were you lying or just not remembering everything? Only to have someone else involved (in this case, agents having transcripts) jog your memory? I know I have, plenty of times that I stated I don't recall something only to be proven it did..in this case, FLYNN was in a perjury trap. That's why he pleaded guilty!

Anyone with common sense, sees this as a weak arse case and why he will not get any jail time and most likely thrown out.

Don't let your hate for Trump blur your judgement. If shoe was on the other foot.....

What was the point...end game...justification of him lying? What "crime" was he trying to cover up?

"It wasn't immediately clear why U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan has ordered the FBI interview report – or “302” form -- be shown to him. But one Republican lawyer surmised that the judge -- who replaced another judge shortly after Flynn pleaded guilty a year ago -- was concerned by allegations made by Flynn's defense lawyer that the FBI misled Flynn about what he thought was an informal meeting with the agents at the White House."

ABC News

Supposedly this Judge is a hard arse when it comes to procedures and protocols...dont be surprised Sullivan tosses Flynn's conviction.

Are you claiming that someone who is not profoundly sophisticated (Flynn) could fool someone who is profoundly sophisticated (Strzok)?

How is a career military intelligence operative misled by the FBI saying "we're sending two agents to ask you some questions, if you want a lawyer, we'll have to bring a DOJ lawyer, too"?

It would seem that he would be sophisticated enough to know wtf was going on

My dumbass would know the score, and I'd have had a lawyer over there immediately

No. I’m not claiming to know who is sophisticated. But it appears they weren’t really fooled. They just noted that he didn’t act as if he was lying.

We get it

He lied to the VP, but not to the FBI, even though he said he lied to the FBI and took full responsibility for his multiple lies to multiple DOJ entities

I don't understand why people have such a hard time grasping this

You may not be claiming to know who is sophisticated but Strzok sure is.

In fact, Strzok claims to be able to tell when someone is "profoundly sophisticated" and in order to be able to do that Strzok has to be "profoundly sophisticated".

Quick question...If they didn't think he was lying...why are they charging him with lying?
Trick question. If they didn't think he was lying in January 2017 but later found evidence that we was not truthful, could they charge him with lying during the January interview?

But 7 months later after consulting with Andrew McCabe who apparently had a lot of animus with Flynn revised the 302 in August of 2017 to edit the account of Flynn's interview from not lying to lying.
So if there were 47 FBI agents in the room and all of their 302's said they didn't think Flynn was lying, but in fact, he was lying, they can't charge him because of the 302's.
