Here is my Sopsher info

Feel free to flame away but here is what I’ve been told. I’m in the restaurant business and talked to the owner of a well known restaurant in Amite. He happened to go to school and played football with Sopsher’s dad, Rodney, who he referred to as Slob. His nickname in school. The Sopshers frequent his place and he has a relationship with them. Small town etc...He said it is Ishmael’s mothers wish for him to stay home and what mom wants is what mom gets. The negotiations are ongoing fwiw.

At my hotel after state championship game, Kentwood coach told me he has known all 3 Tangi kids since pee wee football. He said all 3 are home bodies and are going to LSU. He said Sopher was just having fun with the process.

If Sopsher comes away from his Oregon visit saying “I am going to shock the world,” he is going to Bama. If he doesn’t, then LSU will get him. That’s what my sources are saying.

What needs to happen is that Tiger fans frequent that place as much as possible, creating revenue and that HE be introduced to those Amite kids growing up. Doesn't have to be a "bagman", but he can have just as much influence on those kids as the barber.
