Naz Reid and Emmitt Williams draft status

Given what you have seen thus far in the season. Is it still locks that we lose both of these players to the draft. Would they both still leave if given 2nd round draft grades? I know they are both great prospects, but what I had read preseason led me to believe they were both more NBA ready then I am currently seeing. Granted it's a long season and these players still have plenty of time to be dominant and rise up the draft boards. Tremont waters is also turning the ball over at a high rate which could cool NBA scouts on him especially given his size.
Forbes currently has naz at 25.
25. Denver Nuggets: Naz Reid, C, LSU
The knock on Reid coming into this season was his inconsistent motor during his high school career. The solidly-built center (6’10” and 240 pounds) started out the season on fire, tallying 46 points and 13 rebounds over his first two collegiate contests. However, over LSU’s next five games, from mid-November through the end of the month, Reid averaged 7.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.4 blocks in 22.4 minutes, while shooting a putrid 31% from the field.
Draft site had him at number 12.
Emmitt Williams and Tremont Waters were not listed on either.

Naz is a lottery pick. Williams isn’t even in the first so he won’t go.

To me Williams is more ready than Reid because he’s shown more physicality.

Do you say that because of his potential? Or is it what he's done on the court at LSU.

Williams looks too small to be an NBA post guy.

Williams may be a four year guy. He is to small to play the 4 in the NBA and has no resemblance of the game of a 3.
Reid has great skills for a big guy, but plays like a 6-5 guy. Until he proves he is willing to play defense and rebound I am not sure he would get drafted.

I agree completely. He looks more ready to compete in the NBA physically and mentally with his aggressiveness. I don't think he's shown enough to be a late 1st or even early 2nd. Based on what I've seen I would imagine he would go end of the 2nd round.

Williams will make it in the NBA as a hustle stretch 4. Dude is strong as hell, has good hops and works his arse off

I would be one happy tiger if Williams stayed 4 years. Sadly, I think this is just hopes and wishes.

Can we just enjoy the season before worrying about what we may lose at the end of it?

Reid has all the physical attributes in the world but he wants to play like a guard while looking awkward as frick with the ball

This is a public forum buddy. You've come to the wrong place to "just enjoy the season".

He’s averaging 12 and 5 and will only get better. We are in game 10. He will kill the combine.
Posted on 12/12/18 at 9:10 pm to BallChamp00
Yeah he will kill all of the drills. But what about any of the scrimmages or 1 on 1's. I just think his lack of physicality and he doesn't have "the want" to play defense. The way he moves he should be swatting and boxing out like crazy.

He has over half the season to get better at rebounding. He’s raw but talented.

He he just drives hard. Lol.

What in the world would make you think that Williams would get drafted this year?
