True, but a big part of 40 times is technique, which most guys aren't taught until they begin preparing for the combine. They don't really get faster, but their times improve with proper technique.

I just just used the 40 for a reference, but I mean speed on the field.

I was a big dude and ran a 4.6, for my size I was very fast but not very quick, so I could get in the backfield but typically overran or was out maneuvered and it was all for not.

But I went to Riverside and how to run efficiently and how to improve my running was never taught and the fact that we ate what we wanted and when we wanted probably never helped the situation.
