Oh I know sales guys that kill it. It's just not for me. I don't have the personality for it. My wife works in insurance sales and does well for herself.

You could try selling something different. I hear crackrocks and crackrock accessories practically sell themselves.

Maybe he can ask for a transfer to Lawn and Garden. Electrical, perhaps.... Mix it up a bit.

She doesn't cold call or anything. She's a property and casualty agent. I couldn't do it either. She deals with a lot of stupid people all day long

Only thing that could be worse than working retail is managing a bunch of motherfrickers that work in retail

Eh that sucks but isn’t the worst thing about the job.

Walmart managers for instance really don’t deal with clerks much. Department managers and co managers do. The store manager will make a nice $100k and above, but will work 80+ hours a week and just get beat down to shite all the time.

Yeah frick that, I’m in outside sales and it’s the only job I’ve ever loved. Pays very well if you actually work and my schedule is whatever I want it to be. Chemical plants and refineries spend a lot of money so the commission checks are real nice
