Is logical when you promote an up and coming assistant in high demand for other HC jobs. IE- OU and OSU.
Makes zero sense when you promote someone with damaged goods that no other team in the country wanted as HC.
Alleva chose the wrong guy. Should've been Aranda. He fit the same mold as Riley and Day.
