Anyone else notice how much he resembles Chris Rock?

Bowl games are stupid. Make it a 16 team playoff which would mean every game is important.

He’s a good kid... if I had 20 million staring me in the face coming from the hood with a child I love more than anything knowing this would set her for life. frick the bowl game just being honest.

I would do many things for $20 million. Skipping a bowl game would be the most benign thing on that list.

There are two different ways to view his situation. One view is the route he is taking. He isn't going to risk playing in an ultimately meaningless game, when he has millions waiting for him in just a few months.

Another view, is that anything can happen at any time. I coached an exceptional track athlete in basketball. He ended up being pretty successful at LSU. He had a lingering hamstring issue, and I even asked the mom why he was even bothering playing basketball. Her response was that he can get in a car accident and get hurt any day, so they taught him not to back out of anything for fear of injury.

Both ways of viewing it are understandable. Greedy went with the first path, and that is perfectly ok. It's his decision to make, and screw what anybody else thinks.

Problem is the logic behind this decision terribly flawed. There's no greater chance of getting hurt in a bowl game than there is any other game. If he anything he should have sat out the entire season

Actually, your logic is pretty flawed. And you're just pissed about this for some reason.

He made it through the season, secured top 10 draft status. Sure, it's unlikely he gets injured, but why even take a .01% chance at this point.

As long as everyone is ok with players playing the first year and a half and then quitting until the NFL draft - then we ridin'.

He had that before the start of the season. Again if he was scared of getting hurt, he would have sat out the entire season

That's what they said when they went to a 4 team playoff. Guess what? We are arguing about who is #4. The same will happen with #16.

On selection Sunday... we have arguments about #64 in basketball.

I have no problems with bowl games

Perspective.

Having a child that will be directly impacted changes everything.

Best of luck to Greedy at the next level.

This guy is what's wrong with football today. Can't believe the praise thrown his way for mailing it in the last few games and checking out early. Fournette did it, McCaffrey did it, now everyone is taking their cue.

People jumped Randy Moss's shite for taking plays off. This is the same thing.

Greedy is a selfish douche in my book. He should've taken the whole year off instead of playing not to get hurt at A&M and losing the game. The dude has been mailing it in since the Bama game.

I expect this from basketball players like the a-wipe Ben Simmons. But football players are supposed to be different. This 1 and done place we're going with college football is bs.

hope he doesn't get hurt at the combine, if he attends, or at training camp after he's drafted
