Clearly Ed's O is worse than predecessor

How so? Les had the benefit of having the highest ranked recruit in LSU history and the 2nd highest RB recruit in CFB ranking history (.0001 behind Joe McKnight).

If you put any stock in rankings Harris was a .9651 and Burrow was .9003. Burrow was a lot closer to Etling at .8996. It's surprising Harris wasn't used more in the run game. Burrow has been utilized more.

LOL, don't act like it was by design, and Harris wasn't a very good runner in case you slept through his CFB career.
Still it all comes out in the wash.
Either Ed can't recruit as well, or coach 'em up as well, and reason matters not.
It's worse than what was booted out the door for same offense.

“ how so”

The SEC West was a stronger division before than it has been in the last two years. Ark by itself won more conference games in 2015 than Ark and Old Miss won combined in 2018. Ark and Old Miss combined won 18 games in 2015 They are much weaker programs today.

The point shouldn’t be who has done worse, but why, three years after making a coaching change, hasn’t LSU done better?

I’m pretty sure if this forum was asked in 2016 if they would be satisfied, at all, with 9-3, 5-3 in 2018 with a worse O performance , it would have been a resounding no.
