Who are the smartest politicians in office right now?

Talking raw intellect. Read an article where Ted Cruz was supposedly the best college debater in the country when he was at Princeton. Also went to Harvard Law & argued against the Supreme Court. Really Impressive. Never liked them but I always thought Bill Clinton & Obama were really smart because of how they clicked with people. I guess Romney would be up there now since he's a senator. Despite being a total cuck JD/MBA from Harvard and being CEO of bain is impressive.
Thoughts?

I think EQ is more important, because feelings are more important than intellect.

He's not in office anymore, but John Sununu is supposed to have an insanely high IQ.
I forgot all of his credentials, but I know he went to MIT.
His interviews were gold during Romney's campaign.

Cruz was called 'the smartest student I've ever had' by law prof Al Dershawitz. He was an excellent debater but could not be the best college debater in the US while at Princeton.
The fact is, the Princeton debate team isn't all that great. Neither is Yale. Dartmouth and Harvard have dominated Ivy League competition for over 30 years. Those schools just put more money into it.

The smartest politicians in office are the ones that give you no clue to how smart they are.

Smart is very subjective. Are you talking standardized test smart, or are you talking cunning?
