Maybe this is petty, but it’s going to be hard to pull for SEC

Going to be hard for me to pull for the SEC in the bowl games this year after they’ve made a point to make horrendous season changing calls against us. Maybe an overreaction but I just can’t get myself fired up to support a conference that obviously is against our program

I only pull for the SEC in bowl games if it benefits LSU’s final ranking. I never pull for some SEC teams.

I agree 100%!
My dad and I used to pull for the SEC no matter what and had pride in the conference etc, now we hope that every SEC team looses. F the SEC!

Cheering for SEC teams in bowl games is still a thing? I remember people doing this 12-15 years ago, but not so much the past 5-7 years. I think the SEC proved their point as a dominant conference years ago. This was back when people thought the conference wasn’t getting any respect. Those days are long gone.

If you were as dominant a team as BAMA then you wouldn't have to worry about alleged bad calls stealing away a win.

To each their own, but I don't "pull" for other SEC teams unless them winning somehow helps LSU. If Bama, Auburn, Florida, etc. fans are miserable....then that's just fine with me.

I have never been one to brag about the SEC winning bowl games and championships. I get wanting them to win regular season games because that could help LSU in bowl positioning but another SEC team winning their bowl game does nothing to help LSU and if they lose that could help with LSU recruiting.

"SEC Pride" died 1/9/12. I hope everyone in the SEC loses except LSU, we are competing with them

LSU is my #1 team; all others in SEC are just stinky Tiger Bait.
My rule of thumb has always been LSU first, then if I am interested in another team, I'll watch their games. Lately that's been Texas and West Virginia, UK, UGA... and maybe UCF. But head to head versus LSU even these are just Tiger Bait. IMO.

Somewhat but we also compete with the SEC teams everyday for recruits.
Recruiting>>Conference perception

The concept of rooting for your conference is relatively new and really took off in the BCS era and beyond - and it is dumb. My LSU diploma does not have an SEC sticker on it. So we should pull for Bama to win it all now since they are in the SEC? Screw that...and them.....

I don't pull for the SEC just because it is the SEC. frick Bama, Auburn, Florida, and Ole piss whenever they play.

Anyone who ever "pulled" for the SEC or other teams in the SEC is a fraud. Ignorant and a follower.
