Did anyone notice the utter contempt the ref showed Greedy Williams when he raised his hands in disbelief regarding the pass interference call?

Couldn't believe the announcers literally said: "Yep, the referees are clearly frustrated and ready for this game to be over."

Whether true or not that notion shows complete and utter disrespect to both teams and the sweat, blood and tears being left on that field.

The hateful face he made at Greedy as he tossed off his hat spoke volumes. This ref might have some issues with people like Greedy. It stunk to high heaven.

Who knows what Williams actually said to him? That said, as a referee you have to understand the situation and be willing to keep your poise. Deadball unsportsmanlike penalties are ALL judgment calls. You as an official know that on essentially every play SOMEONE is going to be pissed at you. It's part of the job.

If you want to call an unsportsmanlike penalty early in the game to quickly put a end on trash talking, fighting, or disrespect to the official, fine. But to make that call in the 7th OT is ridiculous.

A similar deal happened in the Alabama/Auburn game. Auburn busts a 75 yard run to seemingly take an early lead. It's called back for a holding penalty (it probably was, but there have been far more egregious violations not called). Gus, understandibly, goes apoplectic. That was a huge emotional swing. The official then flags Gus for unsportsmanlike conduct? (a) that call is rarely made (at least without a warning first) and (b) in a game where HC's spend 60 minutes yelling at refs you decide THAT'S the time to "lay down the law?"

Don't know what Greedy said, probably not anymore than other players have said, but it scared the ref when Greedy clapped his hands, that's what made him mad.

Another ref (the African American one) also was acting very strange as coach O was pleading his case in regards to Phillips targeting. Sure it was most likely targeting but the ref on the sideline is there to also comm with head coach. After the call was confirmed he just smirked and coach O like he really hated him. It was just strange. Later in game, I saw him actually laughing and talking to Aggie players. I am no conspiracy guy but I really believe we have a bad rep calling out refs and as a whole they tend to not like us. Just my take.

That ref should never, ever, be involved in any Future LSU games if Joe Allivie has any say in this. He should be blackballed? forever.

The mindset was, well we’ve f’d up so many times tonight, what’s one more bogus call?

Forget that call because the false start negated any advantage that A&M would have had. The PI was the egregious call.
