I drove through that snow storm as well except when it was in Montana.
4 hrs turned to 12. Got sideways with a trailer twice.
Funny thing, 18 wheelers were blowing by me doing 70mph. I thought they were nuts.
FWIW the new aluminum body trucks are too light weight IMO and slide much easier
