No. They lost 1 close game. We lost a game to Florida and our OL was over matched and had no shot vs. Alabama and made the rest of the team look worse that it really is.

FIFY. Defense came to play and did well considering what they were up against. Better OL play we don't get shout out..period. Only Gumps, Gumps posing as LSU fans, Ukraininan bots, LSU haters and brain dead Negatiger chitte does not know this. Not aimed at you....just saying for the rest:).

This is the real answer. One close loss trumps two losses any day regardless of schedule.

I do not think LSU moves up no matter what else happens.

So you think we don't move up at least one spot if we beat A & M today?

our wins against bad teams (Rice, Ole Miss, Arky, even La. Tech) were very unimpressive

See, this thinking gets on my nerves. None of those games' outcome was ever in doubt. The only one that was even remotely close was Arkansas, which appeared artificially tight because of Brosette's decision not to score on the last drive. By contrast, Michigan should have lost to Northwestern, and Oklahoma had REALLY close calls with Army, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State. Ohio State came THIS CLOSE to losing against Nebraska and Maryland. Even the "top teams" don't just roll out there and beat their unranked opponents by 40 every week. Only Alabama does that. It just seems like a lot of people want to hold LSU to a higher standard than they do the other teams with whom we are jockeying for postseason position.

Very unlikely but the rankings have been very unpredictable this year. I am still holding out hope for a #4 seed and a rematch with Alabama.

This is not a dumb question. The committee have stated they hate the OU defense and it gave up 700 yards yesterday. LSU wins by 20 and they may jump them.

LSU isn’t passing up anyone. Hell Michigan with 2 losses will have an argument to be ranked ahead of LSU
