This may be a dumb question - does the WH get to pick who gets to come to the press conferences? Acosta - you're out, other CNN reporter - you're in.

Don't know if that makes sense - brain isn't quite firing on all cylinders.

Good. I hope Trump plays hardball with Acosta and CNN the rest of the way. They sure aren't going to give him any slack so he should extend none to them

The White House just needs to implement a few rules for press conferences.

1. Assigned seating (with Acosta sitting in the very back). Anyone refusing to sit in correct seat causes conference to end immediately and that person is banned from the next conference.

2. WH picks "journalist" who can ask a question, anyone who speaks without permission causes the immediate end of conference and that "journalist" is banned for the next conference.

3. WH intern holds microphone for "journalist", if any "journalist" touches the microphone, press conference is over and that person is banned from next conference.

Treat them like first graders.

It's 2018... shouldn't the white house be able to cut the microphone of any reporter talking past their turn. If you continue to disrupt a press conference, you're thrown out.

Sorry CNN, you're not special. Ask your 1 question, be happy with the answer given, and sit down/shut up while others take their turn.

Acosta should get the permaban. He’s not a journalist.

While I’ve not read the pleadings in this lawsuit, I would have thought that CNN’s attorneys would be working on a preliminary injunction against the removal of Acosta’s press pass and a hearing on said preliminary injunction would be had prior to the expiration of the temporary restraining order.
