When’s the MS special?
And do we need to worry about the people of MS having a moment of “moral clarity” and pushing a button for a Dem that claims to be a Republican in thought?

MS if you frick this up you deserve for the entire state to turn into Jackson

Im a little worried about Mississippi because of the recent influx of money and attention after Cindy made her stupid comment.
Mike Espy is a walking stupid comment, but he has kept his mouth shut on all of this and let his surrogates do the talking. Smart.

She wasn't my first choice, but since the MSM and soical justice pimps have played the race card, they will unite all the Republicans behind Cindy.

Wrong.
Espy was one of the first out of the gate to blurt out some unintelligible jiberrish about Cindy wanting to attend a lynching.

Democrat Mike Espy said Wednesday in Jackson that Hyde-Smith's comment was "hurtful and harmful." "It was hurtful to Mississippians of good will who know better," said Espy, who is seeking to become Mississippi's first black U.S. senator since Reconstruction. "But it was also harmful because it reinforced all these negative stereotypes — the stereotypes that I've been working all my life to try to overcome."

I’m pretty sure there is a debate between now and the election. Lord knows how that is going to end up.

She should have never agreed to a debate. Dumb.
She really has no business being a US Senator.
Thanks, Phil, you cucking arse.

Have they had any recent polls?

If the crybaby McDaniel supporters would get out and vote for Smith, it would be an embarrassment for Espy.
But if say, 20 percent of them show up it will still be called early.
There isn’t a whole lot of concern from the R’s in the state. If that says anything

She’s a terrible RINO candidate. Not only did she make that stupid comment, she did an awful job responding to legitimate questions about it: ”I put out a statement yesterday and that’s all I’m going to say about it” 5 times in a row! She’s a political puppet who is afraid to openly debate real issues . Our governor shite the bed when he selected her to finish Cochran’s term.
But since I’m pretty MAGA I don’t have any choice but to vote for her.

Relax. MS will take care of business come the 27th.
Even with the votes split between two republicans, we still won, but neither got over the required 50% for the same reason. If the runoff was between McDaniel and Espy like the dems had hoped for, then I would be concerned. Hyde-Smith vs Espy is as certain of a R victory as you can get. No one in MS is going to change their vote to Espy because of outside money or a stupid comment being framed as ray-cist by the media.

You are 1000% correct.
Hopefully the GOP will find someone decent to run in 2020 when that seat comes up again.

Im not worried about people changing their vote, Im worried about people not showing up + more Dems showing up.
Posted on 11/15/18 at 6:07 pm to anc
It's hard enough to get dem's strongest demographic to vote. Getting them to vote twice is even harder.

Don't knock just Alabama over a statewide election. Louisiana has a Democratic governor.
