Were they really insiders? Apparently they did not know as much as they thought they did. Sounds to me like some 'wannabe insiders' took past events and created their own narrative.

Yes, I too am struggling with whom to believe. You have random, anonymous people that could be UGA/Bama trolls telling us his dad hated LSU, and you have the man speaking for himself in his own words.
