What Is There To “Win” For Progs In The Acosta Case?

I am baffled how this has turned into another rallying point for them.
Is it just to stick it to trump or something else embarrassingly pathetic related to that?
Why does anyone truly give a frick about Acosta and his press pass?
Tigerndc09 is literally foaming at the mouth about it. It’s the most pathetic thing I’ve seen in a while.

Nothing more.

They are desperate for a Trump loss. They're tired of all the winning.

Some people enjoy the free press afforded by the First Amendment. Some people (including the SCOTUS per Sherrill v Knight) see the WH's removal of press credentials as stifling that freedom of the press and free speech.

Jim Acosta who has acted totally unprofessional in his position which even most Libs admit that (but don’t care) losing his pass isn’t stifling free speech.

Conservatives used to fiercely defend the First Amendment. Now the Republican Party is going to rally around a guy who is so thin-skinned that he can't simply answer a question that he doesn't like.
Seriously, all he had to do is say, "No. Next Question."

If you are trying to play a gotcha game, what has turned the Progs like yourself into a constitutionalist?

If Acosta wins it will embolden more members of the press to act like total assholes towards Trump.

How have Accosta's first amendment rights been stifled? Explain. I don't see anywhere that he has been silenced from speaking about the government.

The President tried several times to get the a-hole to pass the mic, and Accoster refused, berated the President, and assaulted the aide whose job is to take the mic to the next reporter. Just exactly what the frick did you think would happen to Accoster after that tantrum?
MAGA

Actually, my rights and your rights under the first amendment have been stifled as we depend upon a free press to gather and disseminate information. If the President asserts control over that right, we are all harmed.

Wrong. That would entail Trump banning the network, he banned a single bad actor. Try again.

What has the President done to stifle CNN's ability to gather and disseminate information?

Who but the president is controlling what he says in a PRESIDENTIAL PRESS CONFERENCE?

Trump can't pick who runs his DOJ
Trump can't control his own press conferences
Where do these people come from?

There's no gotcha game. If Obama had done this, it's equally as objectionable. POTUS should be a professional, answer questions (even if evasively), and move on.
Trump seems to be the only POTUS who simply can't function as a professional. That's why we have this bizarre world where a cable news anchor is suing the President and the Secret Service because they won't let him do his job.

Uhh, that is exactly what this "journalist" is supposed to do.

Yes, it's the journalist's "fault" for continuing to ask questions that had POTUS ranting at the podium.
Good for Big Gov for shutting that shite down?
