Tigers are essentially 3 upsets away from the playoffs

1. Cuse beats ND
2. USC beats ND
3. Northwestern beats Michigan/tOSU
Other things that need to happen .... all are very likely:
4. Tigers beat aTm
5. Bama beats UGA
6. Wazzu loses to Arizona or Washington or P12CG
Playoff field would be Bama, Clemson, OU/WVU, LSU
Odds of all this happening seem shorter than 2007

In all honesty, I don't want to see this team make the playoffs and get curb stomped again by Alabama. Would rather win out and play in a NY6 bowl and build confidence for next year.

We aren’t making the playoffs. Stop with this crap. Had we beaten Florida we would have a good shot. Clemson, Alabam, and Notre Dame are all in line to go undefeated. Then after that you have Michigan/Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc. We are not making the playoffs.

The OSU/Michigan theory only holds true if the team the loses to Northwestern then wins the rivalry game.

We do not need all of the things you listed 1-3 to happen because OU is losing at West Va and West Va is losing at Okla St or in the big 12 CG

this is just mind boggling to me... i dont care if they do beat us... you are in the FINAL FOUR!!! how in the hell can that be a bad thing??!! i dont care how good they are, and yes prob the most complete team ive ever seen! but i would never want to play a team that would have essentially nothing to lose... that would be LSU... our guys would play about as loose as you can get... Thats the worst team in the world to play...

SEC refs already looking at this scenario and will make sure to handle it during A&M game. No way they let LSU get in with a bye in the SEC Champ game.
Hopefully no SEC refs for second half of Rice game.
