Where do the gov, congress, and senate numbers stand?

Has anyone compiled this?

Well, the Democrats will gain the Senate majority two years from now.

As you know the majority goes back and forth, and yeah, in reaction to the appalling Administration we now have, certainly there will be D majorities in both the House and Senate.

And then after a few years it will go back, assuming the Rs can nominate someone who is not a blithering idiot.

Soooooo.... Why did the Rs just GAIN Senate seats while most house seats were extremely closely contested if the administration is "appalling?"

Damn that appalling administration must be tricking the voters again! Probably Russians involved, amirite troll?

The more seats you hold, the harder it is to defend. Democrats had 24 seats up for re-election this year versus 9 for Republicans. In 2020 Reps will have 21 seats up versus 12 for Dems.
