- He gave up play calling duties to Longo because of complaining from the fans.
- OM was very unbalanced and were terrible at running the ball.
- He went from HS head coach to pretty much a head coach at every stop after meaning he's probably a liability at coaching a position. He coached DB's in HS some lol
- He does not include any fullbacks and only receiving tight ends in his scheme.
- 2014 when they Beat Alabama they lost to LSU, Auburn, Arkansas and got embarrassed by TCU
- 2015 when they beat Alabama they lost to Florida when OM was ranked 3rd at the time, Lost to Memphis while OM was ranked 13th 2 weeks later and lost to Arkansas while OM was ranked 19th.
- In 2016 they got jacked by florida state, lost to arkansas, auburn, vandy, state and a close call with GA Southern.
add in the fact that he would be a negative recruiting liability, would waste every FB/TE scholorship on the roster until players graduate, and is overall a black eye morally on your program...that is enough for me to easily pass. I don't know why he's so revered, he literally purchased players at OM and still accomplished well below LSU's standards. We all know every football program is throwing around benefits under the table and i'm not naive enough to think we aren't too which is why you don't want to be under the NCAA magnifying glass Hugh would bring with him.

So you’re telling me it’s Baby Briles or bust

Freeze is still an improvement over SE.
But I would rather have Briles.

It's crazy to me, they had qb's LSU fans would die to have and they still accomplished less for the most part. I don't get it

Now you could probably attribute this to talent. Ole Miss had very little talent at running back in the years you mentioned.

Is this a negative?
Are you shitting me?
Newflash- fullbacks and blocking tight ends are things of the past. I don’t want any fullbacks or blocking TEs.

D'Vaughn Pennamon was the 6th ranked APB on 247
Akeem Judd #1 Juco recruit in class

Only for those who don't pay attention.
There are plenty of other options. The names may not be as recognizable, but the results are still excellent and likely to add dynamic elements to LSU's offense.

Because he beat Alabama twice.
I agree though, Freeze has entirely too much baggage.

We've wasted numerous pass catching TEs this decade.

I see you're a saints fan - I guess you haven't watched Zach Line and Josh Hill pave the way for our elite backs.

100% agree, everyone wants the hollywood offer. Tons of great candidates out there

Jesus Christ. Only LSU fans are concerned about fullback usage in the offense.
