you can thank your fellow citizens for constantly voting down every proposed tax or millage and then wondering why we don't have money to keep things nice

Look, this is a horrible situation and I really do feel bad for this guy's family.

As for as this comment. WTF?

In the "nice little towns", you use to be able to get away with a lot more than people are able to today. Like anything else, with social media and the world being much smaller now, a lot of things people would have normally never heard about.. now make the news.

Getting beat to death is obviously extreme, but going into a "small town" bar and getting in a fight, getting beat up if you are not a regular or local, etc isn't anything new.
