^^^ that was your quote, correct?

quote:Actually, based on the current rankings, he's right. LSU has played the hardest schedule in college football if you count the Alabama game.
Or do you think the #6 ranked schedule is harder than the #1 schedule?

However, that does not mean we should not get the best offensive coordinator we can get. I guarantee you he will not say SE is the best we can get because he's not. If we can get a better OC, we need to do it. The offense issues are obvious. There is no excuse for almost being dead last.

Ok, 6th toughest, but still the toughest among all the teams in playoff discussion.
Is there a point for you to make or are you going to split hairs all night?

So you admit now that 6th toughest /= toughest?

Lsu is no longer in the playoff discussion.

Didn’t think it would be necessary to have to make a point about posting factually correct information. Yet here we are.

I’ve been getting blasted all year for saying that the offense has been fools gold.
Well, we are 7-2 and did blow out the #2 team by 20 by running and passing all over them, so I wouldn't say everything has been fools gold because they have been able to put together good scoring drives and have beaten 6 winning teams (which I think is more than any other team).
However, the offense has looked poor the last two games and shouldn't be getting shut out at home against Bama with the level of talent LSU has. The play calling and game decisions sucked on Saturday.

See my post. LSU has played the toughest schedule in college football. It's actually true.

200 yards isn’t exactly passing all over anyone.
We had a good day running the ball
But we haven’t passed for over
Again averages though
We aren’t great on average. Our numbers will bounce back because we’re about to face 2 terrible defenses but we’re probably still a below average offense no matter how you cut it

I'm convinced now that we will be stuck with SE for another year. The SE supporters will soon bring up that we've literally played the toughest schedule in college football as an excuse for being almost dead last. It's coming.
That coupled with the fact that we're about to eat Arkansas alive. We screwed.

Which players on our offense start for alabama?
Teams that are vastly inferior ,talent wise, were able to move the ball against Bama better than we were.
None of their players would start for Bama.
Its glorious watching you defend this offense after years of shitting on better offenses under the last regime.

I would normally agree, but UGA is in the top 10 for pass defense and only gives up 172 yards per game passing. Also, we're LSU and 200 seems like 500.

No, we're not great at all. But I do give them credit for manufacturing good scoring drives when necessary to get Ws which is the ultimate goal. LSU has played 3 top 10 defenses and 6 defenses in the top 25. The concerning part is that we seem to have taken a major step back in the passing and run game the last two games after the UGA win.

GAme flow needs to be noted. I didn’t watch Ark or Tenn but Alabama was up on them 44-14
The score was 28-14 with 12 minutes left in the second quarter.
The starters were in.

u wanna know what is bad?
as predictable as miles was
the fact he refused to use the whole field running or passing
with ugly optics and a boring style
he did still get some yards like you say way better than this now although he had some bad offenses also at times
let that sink in

The first thing I noted both times watching the game was the talent discrepancy.
There has been a talent discrepancy for a while. Im shocked that such a "football guru" wouldnt have picked up on that.

Teams with far less talent than lsu are producing on offense.

He did have some god awful offenses but he never had an offense that was outside the top 60 in passing yards per play and outside top 60 in rushing yards per play.
