THE issue is the OLine. Burrow had no time to throw. I’m not sure how the O line got that weak but the only way to fix it is a couple good recruiting years

Did you know that the offense has been bad all year? Not just against Bama. They are WAY down in the rankings. Is that something you're OK with?

Agree....we can only hope...But LSU has had a great year...Alabama is at another level this year...We need to get top recruits plane and simple...

This performance isn't an anomaly. It is absolutely on the coaches

So the archaic route trees and old school play action from the fricking three are helpful? You would think a good OC would realize he had to help his line a bit in the two weeks prior to the game.

Who has been recruiting all these years?

Canada scores more points against a better Bama defense. If Etling hit a few of those passes where guys were open, then we win that game. Our offense is easy to defend. It presents no challenge to Bama.

We're running out of people to NOT blame.

We lost by 30 (yeah, I rounded up, sue me!) Somebody has to be at fault.

Please just go ahead and read the multiple threads that already argue this - you're wrong. Anyone with sense knows this. There are plenty of ways to work around an OL getting abused, and we knew heading into the game they would be getting abused - they have for 7 years straight in this game.

We tried one of them which we are horrible at (RB screen). We didn't do any of the others.

OL played it part, but E didn't do anything to help - and in fact in many ways, played right into the problem.

Are the coaches responsible for anything? All I keep hearing is it’s not Ensminger

He has 0 points vs Alabama in 2 games, at home

You scheme that advantage away. Great play callers and OC's do it all the fricking time.

You spread it out, run quick passes, run a lot of screens, mix in up-tempo (which they tried half-assedly), and throw in some RPOs.

We did those things sparingly. When we'd try, it was obvious what we were doing. We didn't disguise anything.

lesser OLs have done better. They have to be better developed physically. Need true tackles.

The problem is not just Ensminger. The problem is our program and most of our fan base still hasn’t figured out that college football(football in general really) is tailored towards the offense now. The speed of the game, the new targeting rules, etc. all put the offense in an advantageous position. You have to have the ability put up points and lots of them to win championships now.

Look at th NFL now. They are copying schemes from college football that people said 5 years ago would never be successful in the league.

That play action call near the goal line when Bama almost got a safety was one of several horrible calls by Ensminger.
