They went to Alabama because this game scared them.

The guys that chose to wear the purple and gold and represent their state were and are not afraid of Alabama. Here's to them.

I think both sets of guys are where they belong.

Let's not give them any reason to get mad and fired up. Let's simply stomp on the field.

They chose the free ring route on the allstar team.

Yea, I don't think they're scared. They just wanted to play for the most dominant program of the last decade and the best coach in the country, who puts a shite ton of his players in the NFL.

We can love the Tigers while acknowledging reality.

The homers on this board are intolerable.

Ah, but who has had the most NFL players in the league over the past seasons? Also, I can name about 25 stars in the league that played for LSU, I can name maybe 5 that went to Alabama. We have quality and quantity over them in the NFL. Debunked.

I’m not hating on these guys. They are victims of Sabans anti SEC recruiting.
To Saban it is just as important to keep key players away from opponents as it is to recruit players to Bama. Double whammy, weaken your opponent at the same time adding depth to your own team.
Saban specifically targeted these guys.

how players do in the NFL is irrelevant. I was merely pointing out that Bama players get drafted and get paid.

No, it’s not irrelevant. So you would rather be making Cam Sims salary (Former Alabama WR, plays for Washington, gets no PT) then Odell’s salary? Just saying you pointed out puts a shite ton of players into the nfl which is true, but the argument you made can be used more for LSU as far as NFL players go, we produce the most with the best talent. So that thinking is dumb for recruits.

They could have come together and created something dominant for the state of Louisiana but fear of failure to Nick Saban and Alabama stopped them. Instead they succumbed to the "if you can't beat them, join them" mentality. It's how the Romans used to enslave huge areas with a relatively small army. It's the mentality of the weak.

i don't care about the NFL. I only care about what happens in college.

I was only pointing out that Bama players get drafted highly, which is true.

This is honestly one of the most cringe-worthy things y'all do. No kid owes any fan a say in where he goes to college. That includes Bama kids going to LSU.

These guys knew what they were doing. Perhaps they will make their fortune in the NFL but probably not. This means they better like living in Alabama and being an insurance salesman in Trussville because they've torched their opportunities in Louisiana.

If they read it and get mad, it's only because they are angry at their weakness. They needed cover and they took it, and sold out their people in the process. It is what it is.

It’s mostly a joke, do I acctually wish harm on someone from Louisiana that doesn’t go to LSU? No. Hey, by the way, get the frick out of here.

If you don’t care about the NFL in this, then don’t bring up draft positions and how many players are in the league at all in your argument.
