The biggest reason to be confident and excited is that we have coaches that actually make adjustments in game. They've prepared well enough to know what the other teams are capable of, they have a sense of what our opponents will do, but they are well versed enough in their own personnel and in the opponent's personnel that they can see something that might be going wrong and tweak it to make it go right.

For the first time in a long time it feels like our coaches are putting the players in the best position to win and basing it not on what the coaches think the players should be, but on what the players actually are.

Yeah 19 points and 239 total yards. Great performance

Yeah and a WIN and held them to 3 points. Didn't need to do anything else.

I agree. This seems like the first time in a long time I couldn’t sit in the stands and predict the next play. Lol. I used to go “well, we are gonna go up the middle”. A few minutes later “WHY THE F DID WE GO UP THE MIDDLE AGAIN!?”

You forgot the most important stat. A 16 point win with the game never in doubt.

I’m not debating that - but if this is this team’s “peak” we’re in bad shape for Saturday.

I guess our definitions of "peaking" are different. Yeah we didn't look flashy on offense, but we did what we needed to do to win and dominated them from start to finish. Did the same thing against Georgia the week before. 2 solid results in a row

Say what you want about Coach O - but if we lose this game, it won't be due to lack of focus and preparation.

What we’ve seen on the field this year says more about Coach O than anything his haters have ever said.

I don’t know if we can beat this particular Bama team, but I do believe we will go in there without metaphorically tying one hand behind our backs.

Did everyone see what someone posted yesterday about Miles’s philosophy for games against Bama? About playing directly into their strengths. It was an absolute joke and explains our lack of success against them. Saban must have loved facing Miles.

I also believe we have made better use of our season up to this point than we used to under Miles. We haven’t always executed, but we have run a full offense against everybody. It gives our guys experience and it gives Saban more to think about.

I’m looking forward to the game, but I do wish Tua wasn’t quite so good.
