Anyone that would still take JF over coach O is a fool.

I honestly think he draws plays in the fricken dirt and doesn't ever protect his QB.

He's absolutely horrible, and our fans would have hated him. And I'm not entirely sure he knows anything about defense.

Their defense has improved

It's their offense that looks suspect to be honest

Sumlin left the lines depleted. He needs time to rebuild.

Jimbo left Florida state in good shape. I expect that they'll be sick of him by year 3 but that contract though.

JF definitely left FSU in horrific shape.. not sure what's up with that.

JF does currently have an incredible recruiting class at the moment, in only year one..

What did he leave at FSU?

I just honestly believe the guy took a job with guaranteed money in a low tax state for retirement. I just don't see the passion there. On the other hand, O is hungry and has something to prove. It's just a no brainer for me.

O has done a good job this year, but Jimbo has a better overall resume and is currently sitting with the #2 recruiting class in the country. Remember when Bama sucked Saban’s first year?

When O wins a championship then we can start making comparisons to Jimbo.

They are in the top 15 of total offense even after playing the #1 and #2 teams (and they almost beat Clemson). They are also in the top 30 on total and scoring defense when they were in the 80s last year. Not horrible for sure. He took over a 7-6 team that gave up 55 in a bowl loss to Wake and gave up 100 points in their last two games last year. He has some work to do.

member when Nick Saban lost to ULM and a Sly Croom MSU team in his first season? Yeah, nobody gives a shite now.

It's always interesting to me how some of you are so willing to make excuses for Fisher but won't allow it for O.

O had roster problems all over the place and had to completely restructure the program.

Fisher inherited a much better team than the one he left.

Miles didn’t leave the lines in great shape either.

Its amazing how many deficiencies having a Heisman winning QB can overcome.

O is doing a great job this year. He did fill some big needs by getting Burrow, Cole and Fehoko. We had mostly offensive and defensive line depth issues, but we did have 7 guys get drafted last year including one of the best RBs in LSU history. We have multiple 1st rounders on this D as well. The roster was still stockpiled with talent. He helped recruit some of those guys, so credit to him.
