I have officially stopped watching Live PD

It’s the same petty bullshite every week. I get excited to watch it every Friday Night and it’s like the Groundhog Day Movie
Just petty bullshite and it’s fake. It’s not live. It’s not sunlight in Nevada right now.

I pretty much agree. It’s definitly lost its appeal and it used to be my favorite show. There is soooo many commercials and down time while they drive on slow pursuits or did through people’s pockets that got pulled over for running a stop sign. It’s very boring now.

It's not fake, it's just not live as most people expect it. They legally cannot show live shots because they don't want you seeing a cop blowing someone's face off on live TV.
I do agree with you, though. They follow boring arse departments doing the same shite every night. I love it, but it is getting stale. They need some ghetto areas like Chicago or even Baton Rouge, but the governments of those cities would never allow them to follow their cops live because it would somehow be racist.

They could run a 24/7 show with nola and Chicago but it would kill tourism

My understanding is there is a 30 minutes delay between actual happenings and broadcast. It gives the studio time to bleep our names and personal info, blur faces, etc.
I enjoy it but my beef with the show is that often they cut to something else just as it seems the first situation is about to get interesting.
“Okay, it looks like SWAT is about to storm the compound there, and we’ll come back to that but first let’s go to Fartsniff, Nebraska where Deputy Retardo just pulled over an 80 year old lady with a busted taillight.”

Yea I hate how they jump to another stop while in the middle of another stop. The show is just frustrating to watch
