I don't know why anyone is surprised that they are scanning each and every piece of mail.

Well no.

Remember, the USPS stated they didn't deliver several of them. Stamps weren't marked.

This moron that couldn't spell Florida correctly somehow got 12 bombs delivered across the country to their targets all in the same 24-48 hour span.

That's nuts.

That’s the fishy part to me

For all we know those packages were supposed to go to someone else. They may have been a week late. They somehow weren’t lost which is the biggest thing.

How did the mail that didn't go through USPS get delivered on the same day?

Maybe in his fritzing brain he figured that if he misspelled Florida, they would never think to look for him in Florida. What a maroon.

Science was the difference. DNA, prints etc.

When shite gets serious we go to science. Not myths and psychics. There is a lesson there.

What does that have anything to do with the fact that the packages, presumably originating from Florida, were delivered to various locations several hundred miles away almost simultaneously? The OP is giving credit to the USPS for presumably getting all of the packages in the right location at the same time. I think any of us who have used the USPS can attest that's not always the case.

That aside, what about the package that did not appear to have gone through the mail at all? Or was that not true?

The last 3 things I ordered that were delivered USPS didn't have any of the tracking updates until after I got it

For some reason, I tend to go with Occam’s Razor on this one and say that this guy is just nuts.

But there is one thing bothering me: that van is an attention magnet. If you’re going to send bombs to prominent politicians, why draw any attention at all to yourself?

Thats why I think this is all a setup.

1. Not a single "bomb" detonates.
2. None of them were postmarked.
3. THe "FBI" caught him in like an hour.
4. His van looks like a CNN stereotype of every Trump supporter.

To take a line from the movie Shooter:
