They’re a cover band with a name that is very similar to Florida Georgia line. Do they have their own original music or only do covers?
I don’t want to sound hateful but damn people why is this the main choice for regularly live music in metro BR? By regularly I mean you can see them play at least once a week somewhere in the capital area. Why does BR love cover bands?

Back in the late 90’s the popular band around town was Alison Collins.

I think Parish County line has original songs
The genuine excitement that people in BR get over The Cheewees playing the same cover song set at every BR event throughout the year always amazes me. You’d think it was the Beatles out there the way it gets some LP girls I know rilled up.

isn’t the same guy that “managed” the Gillis Silo band their manager? They weren’t that great but somehow played everywhere also.

They play old country and southern rock. Music everyone knows and can have a good time with. Don’t overthink it.

1. BR loves cover bands for some reason
2. They built a fan base that includes hot white girls by playing frat parties
3. They blew up at the right time to take Gillis Silo Band’s fanbase when they broke up.
4. Decent originals
5. Their only real competition for getting those major country cover band givs are Todd O’Neal and Chase Tyler. So with Parish County Line being the youngest among them (and with the youngest fanbase) they get some great gigs.
Honestly, I wish my band could get half the turnout those guys get. I don’t get the appeal, but their marketing machine is clearly on point.

PCL at uncle earls (they play there probably once a month) is always a great time and I don’t even like country music. The pretty gals flock to that shite
