A woman at the party told police one of the men in the group that robbed the victim gave her his phone number. She knew the man as “Slim.”

Police researched the number and came up with Woods. Police also learned Woods pawned a gold grill at a business in Fort Pierce a day after the incident. Police got the grill from the business and took it to the victim.
