Dude is absolutely losing it. He’s going senile. Multiple times yesterday the action was clearly too fast for him to follow, so he just started making things up about what just happened. It was prettt sad actually.

Damned we have some real "victims" for LSU fans. Everything pisses them off. The crowd size, the crowd leaving early, the play calling, the soft defense, the price of concessions, the piped in music, the band playing Neck, the band not playing Neck, the announcers, CBS, the commercials. Jesus.

He called the entire game from the Georgia perspective yesterday.
After our last score he said’Georgia just needs 21 now.’
I’m not complaining. Just illustrating the fact that he picks a side every game and calls the game on how it’s is affecting that one team.
It’s so funny when he’s wrong. As he was with auburn and Georgia this year.

I like him. You can tell he really does his homework on the teams he’s covering and gives great in depth analysis. I get he can be annoying when your team is losing as it seems he gives a ton of praise when things are going well for the winning team, so when you find yourself in a hole his comments can piss you off. That’s just part of being a fan.

I like when he’s calling O stupid for going for it on 4th down. We make it and eventually score. Then he proceeds to double down and still say it was a dumb call. Good times.

Other than consistently getting names wrong or mispronouncing names and having horrible opinions on calls during the games, the thing that I hate the most is his comments when Jontre Kirklin got a shot on offense yesterday. Nessler mentions that he was a high school QB and had great stats and led his team to a championship. Gary’s response: “well...who didn’t do that in high school?!”

Gary swears he isn't partial but it's plain to see that he has his prejudices. His preplanned narrative for the game was that Georgia was just too talented to lose while LSU is playing above its head.
Once he has decided who is tops in his mind, he rides it like a rented mule.
He's really not that good of an analyst either.
Blackledge was far better when he was with CBS and he is still better than Danielson by a mile.

I can't stand him either and CBS has gotten soooooooo much easier to watch now that Brad N is a part of the broadcast!!!
It's was awful with Verne and Gary, my god. I love it because I can hear Brad giving it to Gary sometimes. Like Gary will say "what a return for Georgia" or what a play by LSU opposition. And Brad will come back, "not for long there's a fumble and LSUs got it" LOL and Gary will just shut up. It's awesome and I love it. It's about time that moron gets some push back and Brad loves giving it IMO.

When he went on the rant about all the little things when we had our first penalty of the game I started seeing this for the first time. Then a little while later UGA got the delay of game and he said that was no big deal. (Which it wasn’t). However if it was against LSU I can assure you he would have made it a point of negativity toward LSU. He wanted UGA to win badly yesterday and it showed. Not a good look for a guy many respected.

It seem pretty obvious that CBS and Gary came in to the game holding the opinion that Georgia was going to run rough shot over LSU. I don’t understand that seeing as how LSU has done pretty damn well against good SEC teams at home for about the last 15 years or so.
I guess some of it had to do with the Florida loss, but LSU can play some damn good football in Tiger Stadium.
