Is this talking point true in the 2000s and 2010s, and likely 2020s?
People from NJ, NY, CT, IL, MA, NH, CA move out of those high-taxed, liberal, colder states, and "move in and change the politics of VA, NH, CO, FL, GA, etc."
Is this true? Is this how Virginia turned into a blue state?

I imagine some have this mentality. Most are just running from high taxes and overpriced housing and are too stupid to not vote for the same policies. They'll get it right this time, they swear.

I can say for a fact that people have moved to Texas from CA and keep voting that way.
What’s worse, I live in Temple, 45 minutes from Austin. I met somebody who moved from CA a few years back for a better job and to escape taxes. Then 2 years ago they moved to Temple because Austin got too expensive.
They now have a Beto sign in front of their house.

Virginia turned into a blue state from the growth of the Federal Government in Arlington, Alexandria and Fairfax and the 10s of thousands of foreign cheap labor brought in to build their homes, drive their taxi cabs and watch their kids.

That is exactly their plan. I saw an undercover report from a dem voter registration office in the Dallas area during the 2012 race and the people there were saying the plan was to move as many people as they could to Texas metro areas to turn it blue. Looks like it's working in a lot of places. We can no longer afford to be complacent. Every conservative and independent who lean right/center must vote in every election.

This is absolutely true. Look what’s happening to Texas. You can’t blink without seeing a California license plate. These people are a cancer. They destroyed their state based on the way they voted. The dumbasses learn not a single lesson. They move to Texas because there are jobs and an affordable cost of living, and how do they vote? The same stupid arse way they did in the state they destroyed!

A pure example is Florida. Compare Broward, Miami Dade, Palm Beach and Orange counties with the rest of the state that does not attract the the great Northeast.

Yankee migration has made the SC coast more conservative. Populist Dixiecrats ruled the coastal county where I lived until the mid 1990's. The influx of retirees on fixed incomes has made this era a bastion of fiscal conservatism.

Sorry, you're saying that people move from NJ (where I lived / grew up) to move to NH?
Most of the people I know who moved out of NJ went to MA, TX, NY, AZ, CA, WA.
Or dummies like me, who moved from NJ to Chicago, which is worse.
