I have evacuated to Birmingham with family but everything I own is about to get blown away. I know this is not political but I just wanted to tell somebody! Lol

ETA: I can't believe it. The marina looks like a bomb went off and my boat was outside and it is just sitting there untouched in a pile of rubble. Amazing!

Woke up thinking about you and your beautiful boat.

I’d literally be sick to my stomach right now.

Praying for the best baw.

Who's your insurer?

Glad you are safe! We were in Destin yesterday. People were leaving but a hell of a lot were staying. Hopefully more left when it escalated.

Sorry for your loss.

Is your house on high enough ground to avoid the storm surge issues?

I wish it were more but all I can do is hope for the best for you and others in northwest Florida. Be strong.

If a little blue shed in Rockport, TX can survive Harvey, you can hold out hope for your house.

Hopefully some dry air will get pulled into the circulation and weaken the storm before it makes landfall.

If money and insurance can fix it or replace it, you really don't have a problem. You have a major inconvenience, but long-term, not a problem.

You did the right thing. Your family and your health are what counts here.
