Have you ever been to Fenway? If yes, I’m going to watch the Tigers!! If not, you have a a hard decision. With that said, you would not regret going to Boston, I grew up in N.O., lived in Wrigleyville, in Chicago and while I thought Wrigley was special, it wasn’t until I went to first game at Fenway, I came away and still that is the most unique ballpark in America. It is u like any other.

Geaux Stros and Geaux Tigers!!

I think Astros as well

Had LSU been undefeated hosting uga I might lean that way

Personally I prefer LSU football, but that’s quite an opportunity if it’s probably your only chance

Easy decision. Go to Boston. I went to LA for games 1 and 2 of the World Series last year. It’s a memory I’ll never forget.

This is coming from a person who has been going to LSU games since the age of 5.

I’d go to Boston. As much as I love LSU, there wouldn’t be anything more I’d love to do than to go to Fenway and cheer on my Astros in the ALCS. That’s the trip of a lifetime right there. You still got Alabama coming to LSU so you still have an opportunity to see a big home game this year

Given the SEC schedule, you’ll probably have multiple opportunities to see the Astros play the Red Sox in the playoffs before Georgia comes back to Tiger Stadium. So there’s that.

This would not be a hard decision for me. LSU is in my DNA. I haven’t missed a home game since I started going as an 8 year old in 1985. No baseball game would make me break that streak.

Your priorities may be different from mine though.

And I forgot to say that I had a chance to go to game 7 of the world series for less than $1000 total trip and tickets last year and I chickened out. So since I'm in my late 50s, I'm considering going to Boston.

I've bee going to games even at the old Colt 45s stadium when Mom & Dad took me as a baby

LSU beating Ga in Tiger Stadium is a very rare and special event with way more riding on it - that baseball game is just another ONE in a season of what? 180? and whoever loses gets to try again the next day

There is no garuntee that the Red Sox will be there Saturday. If you spend the money now and they don’t end up being there Saturday you will kick yourself for missing this weekend in Tiger Stadium.

He already covered that, if the Yankees win, game 1 is in Houston

I would be using miles on my United and Delta credit cards that I accumulated paying almost $6000 per month for 2 years for my mother's care in memory nursing home, so cancelling flights is no penalty.

I am taking the train up to Boston on Sunday for some work stuff. Now I have to think about going to the Sox-Stros game.
