No we don’t fry okra for tailgates down here. It’s boudin balls, fried fish, hushpuppies, fried shrimp, onion rings, and fried gator

Not sure I've ever seen fried okra at a tailgate but that doesn't mean it can't be.

Not really my choice of tailgate food. I typically make jambalaya. Check with Ole Miss. I know Kroger has fried okra at their deli...and since that’s where they get all their other tailgate food you’ll probably have better luck with them.
