I think Flake played it pretty well

I’m speaking of only about the Kavanaugh situation of course but many Democrats were already losing faith in their party prior to Flake wanting to add in an fbi situation. The media, Democrats, and liberal politicians called for a small fbi investigation and Flake gave that to them. Now, at least what I’m seeing, is your average Joe Democrat is even more embarrassed by their own party since people are still making excuses. I assume he votes yes, but I fully believe letting the fbi come in, helped your average person ease their mind about this whole sham. It doesn’t matter what the media says, screaming protesters, and celebrities, we’ve seen them become irrelevant over the last couple years.

It played out well, despite Flake.

Flake's shenanigans were completely unnecessary.

I believe the fbi investigation and how liberal media and politicians acted afterwards has made them look even worse.

I agree.
He voted Yes, every time. He called for an FBI investigation, which led to a Demo to voting yes.
With regard to Arizona senators, I would prefer Flake over McCain.

It's not over until it's over. The senator who's daughter is getting married needs to check his priorities and make it to the vote. Right now we are counting on trusting one or two untrustworthy liberals to live up to their word. Why? He should get his arse to DC and do his job.

I was thinking the same thing.
All's well that ends well.
All's well that ends well.

My understand is that as long as it doesn’t end up 50/50, Mike Pence can be named as a proxy for Daines.
So if we hit 50/49 or 51/48, Pence should be able to vote for Daines.
But if No’s reach 50, then Daines will have to get here to vote. They can hold off finalizing the vote for several hours until he flies in and gets there.

People hate Flake and he’s a bitch but he’s voted with Trump 100% of the time for major votes now.

Thanks for the info! I did not know that.

How so?

This.
I'm sure part of Flakes calculus was to provide cover for and help the Senators who were on the fence justify their vote.....
But it also gave the Dems a big ole noose with which to hang themselves. And they did.
Flake is either smart and lucky, or brilliant.

If you think that isn’t more important, never breed. The gene pool is in bad enough shape already

Flake should never try to run for any office anywhere the rest of his life.
He is a coward. He let 2 women intimidate him.
Contrast that with Kav saying I WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED.
One is a hero, one is a coward.
Everything Flake did was an act of cowardice.

What wrong with Arizona? They have very unpredictable preferences. Sheriff Joe Arpaio... Flake... McCain...

Just make sure Mike Pence is in the house when they vote.
